Three Weeks on the Water: Thank You, Anna Maria Island & Longboat Key

Three weeks ago, we launched Seaside Ceviche with a boat, a dream, a whole lot of fresh shrimp ceviche and fresh-squeezed lemonade — and honestly, we had no idea just how much love was waiting for us out on the water.

Since that first weekend, the response from the beautiful people of Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key has been more than we could have hoped for.

You’ve sold us out. You’ve come back for seconds. Some of you have even come back the very next day.

You’ve told your friends about us, shared our posts, taken pictures, waved us down on the water, and welcomed our little floating ceviche operation with open arms.

And we are incredibly grateful.

People don't just seem to love the ceviche and lemonade — they love the concept. They love being able to pull up to the boat and grab something fresh right there on the water.

People love walking up from the beach.

They love the WHOLE experience of it.

And every time someone takes that first bite and tells us how much they love the flavor, we still get excited.

Three Weeks of Sold-Out Weekends

Selling out has been exciting, but what means even more to us are the people behind those sales.

We've met families spending the day together, boaters enjoying the sandbar, locals who have come back to see us again, visitors experiencing Anna Maria Island for the first time, fishermen looking for the perfect lunch on the water, and so many wonderful people who have taken a few minutes to talk with us and encourage us.

Those conversations stay with us.

Seaside Ceviche may be our little family business, but it is already starting to feel like something much bigger.

The Best Part? We’re Having So Much Fun.

We have so much fun meeting all of you, serving food we're proud of, listening to your reactions, laughing, talking and spending the day surrounded by the beautiful Gulf Coast we get to call home.

By the time the weekend is over, we're exhausted — and somehow already talking about how excited we are to do it all over again.

We absolutely love it.

And We’re Just Getting Started

These first three weeks have given us so many ideas for the future of Seaside Ceviche.

New ways to serve our customers. New flavors. New experiences. Opportunities to grow. Ways to become more involved in our local community.

We have big dreams for this little ceviche boat.

But no matter how much Seaside Ceviche grows, we never want to lose what has made these first few weeks so special: fresh food, authentic Mexican flavor, good people, beautiful water and a whole lot of fun.

Labor Day Weekend — We Hope to See You on the Water!

Now we're counting down the days until we can do it again.

Labor Day weekend is almost here, and we're hoping Florida gives us those beautiful blue skies so we can get back out on the water and serve you.

As always, weather permitting, we'll be bringing the fresh Mexican shrimp ceviche, ice-cold fresh-squeezed lemonade and plenty of good vibes.

And if these first three weeks have taught us anything, it's this:
